Why did I chose my speech?

Emma Watson is a dazzling woman who has gone through many difficulties throughout her short life, this led her to become a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, she is considered a woman who fights for human rights, some of her works more significant were on the equality of women and legal abortion. She gave a speech in the campaign entitled HeForShe in 2014, that had a great impact on society, below I will give the reasons with valid arguments why I chose her speech delivered in this campaign.

Initially my first reason for choosing this speech was that she is a role model for many people including me, I think it would be great to be able to interpret a bit of her speech for my exam, and although there are some difficulties, such as the British accent or the time of its duration, they will not prevent me from being left behind, it is an honor to be able to express some parts of this magnificent speech for my class, this also has benefits, such as that my classmates can be more informed and that they can know what these movements are about , and that they manage to understand that one day, fighting together for all our rights, we will achieve a significant change in our society. In this short but expressive paragraph, I was able to give my first reason why I chose this speech from this important movement for women, being honest, I hope that the words of Emma Watson will have an impact on my colleagues.

Furthermore, she has taught me that if I fight for the right thing I can make big changes, she is my role model and my firm inspiration, she is the one who has shown me that if we strive we can achieve everything, she managed to get ahead although everything around her was collapsing, because of her I became who I am now, and at only thirteen years old, knowing that one day I will grow up and be able to become someone like her, someone who does not shut up when something is unfair. Throughout the ages, women have not had the right to comment on what was right or wrong, fortunately we have reached a time when women have made these types of movements and have managed to raise their voices and be heard. Emma Watson, represents a very important movement so that women can have a more meaningful voice, is the clear example of what a woman can be, if they proposes it, she proved to be someone we can admire and has earned the respect of many today in day. These is the reason why she is my muse for the rest of my life.

Finally, we can conclude that these were my reasons why I chose this honorable speech, Emma Watson is an amazing activist and woman, she inspires me every day to be a better person and fight for the right thing, and I do not regret having to express her words in my class, since for me this is amazing, it will be a very good experience, from which I will learn a lot.
